Achill Island

It was a mixed day of weather, showers and brighter spells, but much cooler. We had a brief look around Sligo before going to the Wild Nephin National Park visitor centre. This was really good and informative and also had an excellent café where we had soup and cake for lunch. There was a walk from the centre where there were good views of Achill Island. The blip is a view of Achill Island from near the Wild Atlantic Way Discovery Point @An Fál Mór, where we stayed the night. The other parts of the extra are Deirbhile's Twist a recent ‘stone circle’ created for a sculpture project.

Best on black.
