Sparkle & Smoke

Sparkle & Rain smoke today from a dodgy socket switch. Amazingly the fuse withheld the surge from the iron. All wiring was fine (hard & flexi). The only worry now is that most of the house is fitted with these fancy chromed sockets. I'm hoping the dodgy switch is just a one off and that the company will take note as I asked Screwfix to send it back to them.
