Checking Things Out

The weather we're having right now is one of the reasons we live here.  The temperatures have been perfect with a cool breeze.

The kids came over for eats.  My son cooked burgers and I made the sides.  It was birthday celebrations we couldn't seem to get to for one reason or another.  My DIL was the 9th and one of my grandsons turned the big 21 on the 15th.  I always ask what kind of cake they want and this year the DIL asked for a peanut butter pie and the grandson asked for a red velvet cake with cream cheese icing.  They both got their wishes and we had a great time sitting outside on the deck in the beautiful weather eating, having a few, talking and laughing.
