The Watcher

Down the East coast today and stopped at North Berwick to blip  the watcher. He’s always there looking over the bass rock as the gannet population come and go.

Storm ‘whatever’ has now done one and by all accounts we done all right as no damage and only had to deal with a rogue yoghurt pot which had escaped from the wheelie bin in the back garden and refused to be caught this morning as it was whipped around by the high winds.

Was a pleasure going into my tidy garage this morning, simple pleasures!

‘So I took her by the hand
And out of the promised land
Now I understand what Adam did
Traded heaven for love
They call that the fall of man
Traded heaven for love
And I'd trade it all again’
