Ramblings and Mutterings

The butler did it

Had a nice lie in this morning.

It was a nice trip to the theatre today. It feels ages since I've been. Today was the play A Game Called Malice based on the Inspector Rebus character written by Ian Rankin, one of my favourite authors. I really enjoyed it.

It was a lovely day to be walking through Cardiff and I even managed to buy some books. Lol!

Made it back in time then for the Super League Grand Final between Wigan and Hull KR. It was a tight final, broken up some magic by Bevan French, an incredible break and try. There were two other try scoring opportunities for Wigan, but both were denied by the video referee. But Wigan ran out winners in the end and won the Grand Slam of the Grand Final, League Leaders Shield, Challenge Cup and World Club Challenge trophy. An incredible season!

Today I am thankful for:

1.  An afternoon at the theatre
2.  A Wigan Grand Slam
3.  Book purchases
