A day of retail despair today. Replaced a shower head and hose: they now sell these without end washers. How dangerous is that? Very dangerous indeed. I had to pinch the washers off the old unit. Dear God.

Mrs Mac's car was showing a service 'spanner', in spite of it being thousands of miles off a service. Mechanic advice to 'switch it off' didn't work. Research. Probably a blown bulb. It was, back side light.
Halfords tell me this bulb 'will likely not work on your car'.
It did, as I based the specs on bulb removed from car. Service light now off, cost £1.50.
We are truly turning into a third world country, where no-one has genuine  expertise, and it'll be £25 + VAT to even look at it.~
