Well that was tasty...

Had the pleasure of lunch in Paul Ainsworth's Padstow restaurant on a trip to Cornwall 7 years ago. It was genuinely superb. His cookbook has been a long time coming, but is full of 'we have to try that' recipes.

My turn tonight, with his take on toad in the hole (using puff pastry instead of Yorkshire pudding batter). Didn't look as pretty as his / his food stylist's, but it tasted rather lovely.
