Collection of Conkers

I've been pocketing conkers on my lunchtime walks for the past few weeks. I love the smooth, tactile feel of them and their rich chestnut colour. There is a very good conker tree just outside the main entrance of my work that is producing a very good supply. 

I had this idea to photograph a group of them as a kind of flat lay image. I was a bit rushed today but decided to record the image anyway as a 'sketch' as something to come back to with my proper camera and more time.
