Aurora Borealis

Gasp, it rendered me speechless and emotional.

I had been watching the alerts for the Aurora for months, since the sighting in May. I knew tonight would be a winner, but this was next level!

A shooting star/meteor/flare shot across the sky at dusk, almost initiating the burst of color that graced the entirety of the sky for the next thirty minutes. Visible to the naked eye, these streaks of reds, blues, greens and yellows stopped our small town and united us all under one amazing light display.
