Saxifrage

I wanted an afternoon out to look for a certain tree, one that I blipped last week, but smaller so that it didn't cost £200. Hayes had an offer on of 50% off outdoor plants.

I hoped I wouldn't have the same issue as a had with another garden centre some years ago when I took up an offer. The boy on the till had to turn to one of his colleagues and ask "Is a tree a plant?"

Anyhow, Hayes didn't have the particular variety I wanted, and no small ones of the species so I have found one online.

Having got a voucher, I wasn't going home without a plant. I rather liked this crazy saxifrage Dancing Pixies "Tini". Instead of this pink, I chose a white one as I had a place for it to go. I'm always on the look-out for plants that like partial or full shade.

I may blip their Christmas display on another visit.
