Great White Egret

Many thanks for your good wishes for my new kitchen. Work began today - it's already looking vastly different! I escaped for a while to have coffee with my Monday friends and then stopped by the river to look for a blip on the way home. I was thrilled to see this great white egret fly in - my first of the season! You can see how much bigger he is than the little egret. Hugely cropped in dull light but he had to be my blip!

This evening was a 'hands on' evening at camera club. Lots of still life going on. Not really my thing but it was, nonetheless, a very positive evening.
