The winter birds are showing up

I haven't seen a red breasted thatch all summer and today (even though it hit 75degrees) one showed up . I always think of them being seen more in winter. The feeders were busy today too. 
I have all but one flower bed covered with compost. I have to weed whack and clean up the porch  and then pick up the last of the garden tools and stuff. My son has to mow the lawn , husband has to clean out the bird houses and we have to shred some stuff. The last one and mowing will be fun as we need to get the mower and shredder out around two tiny kitties with minimal spooking of said tiny little kitties.   Who were seen playing with a leaf and also with the toys I left for them. I can now get about 5 feet away but no closer. I am however , being  identified as the food lady.
