Daisy-mow

Mid morning call to say the boxes had arrived.  Headed to school where J & I sorted them and checked them to make sure they were all in order.  Perfect!

Had a meeting planned for 1.00pm but the person I was expecting didn't show up.  Instead I headed back to our little office to do a bit more prep.  Before leaving I popped into the staffroom only to find the person I was 'expecting' earlier in there (couldn't find me earlier) so we quickly found some space and got stuck into a bit of problem solving.  The 'onboarding' process for this year's exams is awful..........little communication, less help and now, thanks to the mess, help lines that are clogged, insufficient or misleading information, technology that doesn't work for everyone.......soooooo many frustrated people and exams start in 2 weeks.  Anyway, one help session turned into 2 which turned into 3 by which time school had finished and I was exhausted.  Home for some relaxation.........except I'd decided yesterday I would mow the lawns today.  Out with the mower and lawns now looking neat and tidy.  I particularly enjoyed mowing this strip through a rather dense patch of daisies.........much as I love them, they had to be gone.

Think I'll sleep well tonight.....
