Inch Micrometer

My friend Bert, who is well into his eighties and was a toolmaker by trade, gave me his old Inch Micrometer the other day. He told me that he has no more use for it and wanted to give it to someone who would. I am glad he thought of me. We might be on the metric system here nowadays but I will still find plenty of use for this. Especially because all my wood stoves are pre-metric and I also have an old Land Rover that pre-dates metric too. Besides, with my modern iPhone I can use my conversion app to change my measurements back to metric.

I do love quality tools. This one is no exception.
