Glorious

Yolk light
melts onto eyelids,

thick colours
through thin skin.

Shoals of leaves
swim in a sky pool,

their shadows floating
in an open book.

On the road, the afternoon
picks at its despair,

as the trees breathe out
then breathe out again.


Hello everyone. Sorry that it's been so long. I haven't been very well after my last operation and it's taken me by surprise. I've had a bad bout of IBS and the fatigue continues. However, I think I'm on the mend now and ready for six weeks of summer holidays with two small and very lively boys!
I've added a few back blips. June 14th was exciting! Hoping to catch up with everyone now. I am prevailing.
