Green

Much like yesterday, today was sunny and mild. Like yesterday, I stopped working after lunchtime, to continue tidying up in the garden. Just when I wanted to grab my green waste bucket, I spotted this female great green bush cricket sitting on it. It‘s easy to see her from this side, but she was well camouflaged. 

In the afternoon, P and I went shopping and got stuck in a traffic jam. The main road from our suburb into the city had just been closed for resurfacing, and the traffic quickly got backed up for several kilometres. This doesn‘t bode well for the coming weeks, as we have a number of appointments in the city, and the roadwork is will go on until mid-November at least.
