Arum lilies after the rain

We have had so much rain over the past two days - about 140mms! The garden is looking lovely and fresh and the plants are smiling.
Sadly many areas in the city are flooded, especially in the poorer settlements, with many people being displaced.  Appeals are out for warm clothing and food parcels.
I met my recently widowed friend for coffee this morning where we had a good catch up. She seems to be coping well.
I am so grateful for my home, loving hubby, family and friends.
