A Big Day Out!

It was a long drive for the pleasure of meeting all these people here but on reflection, it was worth it for the laughs alone haha!

We met at the Hirsel Estate near Coldstream sitting outside at the end of October was a bonus especially since surprisingly for a country estate, the cafe was not dog friendly! I got some wedding outfit inspo from Jane and LeeAnne for the wedding on Saturday which was good. A trip to Glasgow beckons…

After the lunch we had a browse in the wee shops and then a go on the swings. A walk on the estate to see the Highland Coos which were very cute and quite frisky !

Next we went to somewhere that was shut, then another place that was also cafe closed so ended up at Berwick Garden Centre for refreshment before the drive home. David and Jim joined us from their golfing exploits and we all had a good chat (and laughs).

It was great catching up with Diane (who only lives 15 mins along the road from me) LeeAnne and Jane (all fellow Blippers). Jane I first met in 2012 in Tentsmuir Forest which was a Blipmeet! It was quite a drama after that meet!

Always great to catch up with these ladies and had such a fun day.

S and I had the two hour drive home with no hold ups in the Edinburgh by pass.
