I Witness

Tiny Tuesday ...

... Air.

We were so surprised to see this lovely monarch butterfly (male) on our Mexican sunflowers last night.  And even more thrilled when he was still here this morning ... especially for Tiny Tuesday!  I was on the ground shooting straight up into the air for this shot ... and it's obviously not with the macro lens!  We hope that he will soon be air-borne for his flight to Mexico for the Winter.    Thanks to freespiral for hosting Tiny Tuesday all this month.

Early blip for me today as I prepare for my hand surgery this afternoon.  I got the call last night to report to the hospital at 2:45 pm today. Thankfully, the surgery will be done with a local anesthetic so I didn't have to worry about fasting.   I have no idea how I will be able to get along after the surgery as it's on the right hand and I'm right handed!  I will do the best I can over the next couple of weeks to keep my journal as up-to-date as possible ... but it's going to be interesting.

Not only will I have to figure out how to take pictures without the use of my right index finger but then I will have to figure out how to process the pictures each day.  Richard will probably be my "right-hand man" for a while!  And for that I'll be very grateful.  ♥
