St Daboec´s Heath

From El Peralín, Cabranes. 
I´ve found a website that says it likes heathland in southern Europe, and another that says it doesn´t stray from the west of Ireland. Daboec was apparently an Irish saint, but on the other hand it´s also known as Daboecia cantabrica (or daboeica azorica for the Azores variant) and grows profusely in this part of north-west Spain.
