That time of year again.

As usual Tuesday morning was Sit and Keep Fit. A full house again.
MrC was off to his bowling club this afternoon and I set too and made my Christmas cake.
Always make a ‘taster’ cake. Something my Mum- in -law used to do and when we got married I thought it a good idea. Nice to have a treat before the big day.
Recipe from Readers Digest Cookery Year 1973. I’m not sure what recipe I used before this as we were married in 1967.

Another beautiful autumn day. Sunshine and mild. Hope it lasts a bit longer.

We are both fine after yesterday’s flu jabs.
