Birgu

This is the view from our balcony!
We’re now in Birgu on Malta, having travelled from Gozo this morning on the fast ferry.
It was an awful trip and we all felt really sick - N was actually sick. I felt ill for quite a while afterwards.
We spent the afternoon walking round the winding streets of Birgu, taking in the grand buildings and visiting an enormous, ornate church.
We had dinner out in a cool restaurant alleyway, lit with coloured lights and playing jazz style music.
We’re staying in an amazing three storey old house in the historic streets of Birgu. Our bedroom looks over the harbour with this stunning view and we have a roof terrace too.
Never stayed anywhere like this before!
