Stubborn Tree
A lovely sunny day, a wee walk around the park in the sunshine. It feels quite a bit fresher than yesterday. No tree casualties found apart from the large loss of leaves form some trees. On one path, it looks likes someone has used a leaf blower to clear the path. The leaves have been scattered on the grass.
in the afternoon, partner and I take some coats to the Winter Coat Exchange. (washed and mended) Then to a craft shop as partner needs some translucent acrylic paint. Then we need to walk to another shop to buy a new blind for the upstairs bathroom. On the way we pass this tree. It is growing through a security fence, has been brutally cut back, and holes drilled in to the trunk in an effort to kill it. However, as you can see from the blip, it has recovered a wee bit. Truly stubborn. Blind selected, and a couple of other diy things purchased, we head back to get afternoon coffee.
