One of those little jobs

Had to replace the battery on the BMW. I had put it off for some time but this morning decided that today was the day.One of those five minute jobs that turns into a couple of hours. A very large and heavy battery in a very small space in the corner of the boot.Bashing my head on the boot catch with much swearing and cursing it eventually came out. Over £200 for a new one! Local small car parts shop very helpful. So much better than dealing with some kid in Halfords dead from the neck up and another product of the state education system.

This got me thinking how many people in every day life are dead behind the eyes. Perhaps the only highlight of their week finding a can of tuna on special offer at the local supermarket. So many that look like they have never experienced a single day of joy.Such is visiting our local town.

However returning home we managed to get a lot of preparations for the next lot of production done along with a few more of the maintenance jobs.
