My topsy-turvy life

Copper & wool

Somehow it's been 7 years since I spent a whole day grinning from ear to ear. It doesn't seem possible that it's been 7 years and still feels like it was a couple of days ago...I think that's a good thing.

Despite Louisa working today (and me working from home in the morning) we arranged a lunch date at The Beacon, where we ate far too much for a Monday lunchtime, before our anniversary selfie in the car park.
Then, after the usual evening of sorting things out and getting somebody to bed we had chance for our traditional meal deal, M&S this year -goat's cheese and caramelised onion cheesecake, moussaka and seasonal greens, and sticky toffee pudding. Then that was followed by boozy chocolates watching an action/adventure film this year being the spectacularly bonkers Stonehenge Apocalypse!

I really do feel very lucky to call this wonderful woman my wife and I'm very glad that she seems to quite like having me around. I also love how we try to make even the simple things special.
