Outing
Today's form of transport is there in the extra. A Twizy. Described by Mr A in a text as a motorised baby buggy, and I think that it's quite apt. It's functional, but not especially relaxing to drive. [It's electric and it just has Drive / Reverse / Neutral. Pretty simple].
This was my first go in the Twizy, which L&L have borrowed from friends who have it on a long term rental. I followed L (on his motorbike) down to Hamilton, where he was joining L to go for a routine scan, and spent an hour or so having a look around Hamilton, getting some lunch, and then heading on a mini excursion to Spanish Point Park, which is where I took the blip. And then made my way back, which was quite simple and not too anxiety provoking once I'd got over the conviction that the vehicle was not going to start at the point when I was furthest away from home.
As will be obvious from the photographs, today was rather grey, but at least dry. It's also quite windy. Tomorrow is expected to be much heavier weather, as the remnants of Tropical Storm Oscar pass through, with lots of rain and up to gale force winds. I may not be venturing far, although I may go back to Elbow Beach to photograph some waves.
Meanwhile, the work rolls on, but very much in the early part of the day.
