Pickle Soup, a Troll, and a Stroll

My visits and schedule finally eased up so Kate and I could plan a meet up! We had a lovely lunch introducing Kate to dill pickle soup ! I think she liked it to her surprise. Then I showed her Olle Bolle the big Troll not far from where I live . Afterwards we took a wee walk at Springbrook and found some various fungi that Kate took some pictures of .
A wonderful escape from all the election frenzy and worries. And the weather held and was lovely:)
