Edinburgh Castle above Princes Street Gardens.  In the distance there are four men, looking like spiders, abseiling on the rock to stabilise it to prevent any loose fragments from falling below.  Netting had been installed a few years ago but natural weathering causes the rock face to deteriorate so this is a precaution especially as the main railway line into Edinburgh is below.  Meanwhile the huge castle rock will remain for thousands of years.
