Mud puddles

Not from rain. Hubby pulled the boat up before we went to WV but the tide was so high in the yard he could not give it a good wash. After we got home from visiting my mother he got the job done. I made a turkey veggie soup to take for our lunch and everything bagel French loaf with pecan braid for dessert. The soup was delish and I think her and hubby really enjoyed. When we got home I worked in my pitiful garden for a while and enjoyed watching the birds bathing in the mud puddles made from washing the boat. It has been 20 days or more since we had rain. The little birdies were joyous to have a bath and there were many different types who joined in!
