Petersham Station

To the White Cockatoo for a drink or three with the not-so-recently renewed friend. I only noticed the mural on leaving - a pictorial representation of Henry Lawson, I’m guessing (despite the absence of a drooping moustache), whose poem ‘Second Class Wait Here’ (1899) was set at Petersham. Shadows of the past still there.

Thanks for hosting C1aire.
