Walking home from the docs this morning, the sunlight lit up the autumn leaves, turning them golden...

Doc applied fifth type of dressing on my hand to try and speed up healing. Said not only had I ripped skin off my palm but had bruised nerves and tendons and should expect it to take another fortnight to heal. Lovely... Rest of day spent preparing to go away tomorrow, Wednesday.
