Catch up

I hadn’t seen this good friend for ages. We had lots to fill in, a gentle walk around the Reserve, and a lovely coffee and cakes.

Yes, it was muddy underfoot but the warden had only fenced off half of the river walk. We got to the end to be faced with a padlocked gate. I’m quite proud of myself. I’m not good at climbing over the fence, especially when they’ve added mesh to make it harder !! My friend lent a valuable arm and I made it without disaster……

Of course, we did tell them on reception. I was really rather lucky !!
