A good day = chocolate and cats

It’s been a good day on two fronts, most importantly, firstly, Emmy and secondly, custard creams! 

Firstly, Emmy was at the vet this afternoon and had put on weight and her tumour seems not to have grown much. Indeed, Sue the ever lovely vet was pleased with her, so with a restocking of painkillers we were set for another month. Emmy lives to fight another month … 

Secondly, we were at a former penny emporium at the weekend and brought these amazing chocolate covered custard creams, although, you only get 6 for £3. They were delicious, however, being frugal (yeah, if only) we decided to make our own. Ok, they don’t quite look as well turned out (an original posh M&S one is on the right of the plate), but they tasted delicious, and we worked out they only cost us 10p each! 

Anyway, a good day, all told. Here’s hoping your day has been good (or at least, not bad).
