Central Station Sculpture

While waiting to meet friend Gill in Central Station this morning, I came across this wooden figure entitled 'Beacon of Hope' by Steuart Padwick.

 "A legacy gift to Glasgow from over 50 countries - COP26" according to the information board beside it.

After coffee in Princes Square, Gill and I met up with pal Fiona for lunch and a catch-up in Browns. We treated ourselves to a glass of wine with our food, which made our eyes water when we got the bill!
