Balcony

We have been in London today watching two workmen (?Ukrainian) arriving in our 6th floor flat having carried 8 thick 4m long planks up the stairs in order to repair the parts of our balcony that are rotting away.  They worked from 8 to 5, got half way through the job, and will be back tomorrow.  Such hard-working, neat and polite young men!

While they were here, MrHCB and I took it in turns to go for flu jabs, covid boosters, hygienists and dentists.  So we are getting renovated today as well.
