On the Rocks
We had a very pleasant day visiting a few of the wildlife sites along nearby Druridge Bay. Last time we visited this area, was in June (2021), so there was a very different array of birds. Today’s highlights included a pair of Marsh Harriers, and a raft of over 200 Coot. I also spotted this gull on a rocky outcrop at the coast, and although I’m no expert on gulls, it struck me as something different. I think it might be an Iceland Gull. Not my first - I’ve had others ID them for me, so I was able to compare previous shots.
