Wide Wednesday - John Muir Woods

There was no chance of getting any reasonable shadows today as the sky was cloudy and grey. This is a shot of John Muir Woods which were devastated by a storm some years back and many o the trees have been felled for timber leaving the skeleton of a woodland which has its own. feeling of bleakness.
