Bohinj - day 3

It's grey all day today, culminating in rain after dark. We've completed more than we expected to on the book and are well placed to continue working asynchronously.

On today's pre-lunch walk we passed a hotel that I hadn't seen and Gáspár had forgotten - Hotel Kristal. We went into the deserted restaurant and eventually found someone to make us coffee. They also told us about the three course evening menu for €25.

So, we trudged back to the Kristal in the dark, in the rain. The menu was mushroom soup for starter, fillet of trout with rice and carrot puree for main, and a white chocolate, cream and raspberry dessert. Yum, yum, yum. The best meal I've had since leaving the UK!
