A skein

This is one of several skein of geese flying overhead these days. Our visiting dog likes to bark at them way overhead.

When I first saw them the shape was more like an M. I felt they were choosing a new leader. By the time I came out with the camera the new leader was chosen.

If only the Tory party leadership contest and the American election could be that quick!
