Geese

I could hear these geese for about half an hour but couldn't see them.  Then suddenly the volume increased 2- or 3-fold and I saw them take off and head away to the right.

I have combined 3 separate images of the same tree for the foreground.  I previously stated that I would re-visit this tree after harvest to determine its species.  It turned out to be what I had suspected: a whitebeam, Sorbus aria.
