Wood on Monday

I know you don't want to hear it, but the man cold has intensified. Since I wasn't sleeping well, I forced myself to get up and go down to my den/art room, and finish this Fender.

I love it when I see a piece of wood, and I think..."That looks like a guitar." I googled famous guitars, and this Fender was the 1st image that came up. First the draw on graph paper, transfer the picture to the wood with carbon paper, wood burn it, and then paint it. It is approximately 3 feet long. 

What happened after the project was finished? I went to bed at 11:30 a.m. and didn't get up until 7:30 on Tuesday morning. Yikes! According to my math, that is 20 hours! (I told you the man cold was bad!)

I'm glad the guitar was aqua. One of my favorite colors.
