Moody Moreton Bay Fig Tree

This is one of the big Morton Bay fig trees at Hyde Park which has had some of its infected branches lopped. Apparently this is the only way known to stop the tree from dying from the shot hole borer!  
Some of these trees are around 100 years old and its so sad that quite a few now have died in this past year.
It looks kind of like a creature with his head lopped off eeeek poor tree creature!! Another different moody tree in extras.
