Movie themes

Bas, Annemarie and I went to Martiniplaza in Groningen this evening to see and hear “The Music of Hans Zimmer vs John Williams”, live performed by “Le grand Symphonique” orchestra from Kyiv.
Beautiful movie themes were played, such as E.T. Gladiator, Batman, Indiana Jones and Star Wars. Also a piece from Schindlers List was performed with a solo violin player. An impressive piece that I’m also practicing on piano.
My personal favorite was played after the break: Chevaliers de Sang Real from the Da Vinci Code.

The whole pieces revolves around the note F.

During the break we met Ron and Martine, and also Jan Pianoman.
We had a great evening. Especially Bas enjoyed it a lot. He’s grown the habit of listening to classical movie-music while studying.
He knew almost every piece played.
