Mr Postman, look and see ….

…… if there’s a letter, a package for me …

And there was. A book, written by Blip’s own DDon.  (Shameless plug).

It’s a humorous memoire of his time as an English teacher.  Reading it, I’m reminded of many of Anniemay’s stories from her teaching days, particularly - like Don - of motivating the ‘naughty’ boys.  

It also struck me that they’re both teachers who actually like children. I say that with emphasis, because my own experience of school was being taught by people who clearly didn’t.

What’s next Don - the movie?  And who's lined up to play you?
