Not a Good Start to the Day

Up at 05:00 had breakfast, washed up got everything ready to leave the house. Fired up the app to activate my ticket - all was well. Arrived at Tain station around 06:15 to find the bloody train cancelled, lack of staff apparently. Fired up the app again to work out next moves - this had obviously appeared during my ten minute walk to the station. Can't say I was best pleased at having to change in Perth followed by the endless trog through Fife on an incontinent dog rather than make my original direct connection from Inverness to Auld Reekie.
