Gijon

Today we are docked in the Port of Gijon, a huge industrial port area in the north West of Spain. We took the shuttle bus to the city centre around 9 am and spent all day happily wandering around the marina, the old town and the beachfront. It's a really nice city centre with a mix of old and modern buildings. It's very clean and feels quite prosperous and the weather was wonderful getting up into the mid to high 20's. It's 6.15pm now and we are leaving for our next destination, further along the coast.
