Bamburgh Castle and Beach

J and I walked to Bamburgh along the coast path and beach this morning. Absolutely glorious weather. We have been so lucky. We had a bowl of soup in Bamburgh then decided to walk back by a different route. Another lovely walk.  8.5 miles in total. 

The castle is hard to photograph because it towers above the road and the angle can be awkward. I did my best. 

Unfortunately I have to cut the break short by one night. J will leave tomorrow but I'm now waiting for a bus to Berwick and a train connection home. I hope everything is on time as I have a quick turn round to get down to Cumbria tomorrow.
