Coughton Court

It was such a lovely sunny  afternoon I decided to pop over to Coughton Court National Trust property today.
I’d forgotten that it was enclosed in scaffolding for a £3 million plus roof restoration project. They have decided to turn the scaffolding into an additional attraction! There’s a big metal staircase and with a high  vis jacket and an ill fitting helmet which would blow off in a breeze, you are allowed to walk up and gaze down on the building work and the surrounding countryside. I thought the reflection in the lake was more picturesque  though so the collage shows the scaffolding view in the extra, with some interesting plants, spindle flowers I think and medlars
