Et Ego in Arcadia vixi

Tonight I have been invited to a musical soirée. There will be musicians, singers, poets, writers, fraudsters and 3 card tricksters (just joking for last 2).

I am reading a piece from William Hazlitt’s Essays (Table Talk) entitled ‘On the Ignorance of the Learned’ (did you know his family were from Tipperary by way of Antrim)? And also a short piece from Myles na Gopaleen’s Lives of Keats and Chapman and the Brother (clever and worth reading).
