Pressure

Last year a further £1.2 million in funding was made available to UK councils for removal of chewing gum stains. Its reckoned that £7 million is spent annually on the clearup at a time when local Government is short of cash.   I quite like chewing gum myself but whats wrong with taking it home or using the bins provided. 

On a lighter note -  why did the chewing gum cross the road?   Because it was stuck on the bottom of the chicken's shoe!
